Waste Management, Skip Hire and Hazardous Waste

Thanet Waste Services is the leading waste management company in Kent and we have the resources to handle approximately 400,000 tonnes of domestic and commercial waste every year.

We have the largest Kent skip hire fleet we have more than 1000 waste disposal skips on hire at any time and our services for commercial and domestic customers include the widest range of skip and Rolonof bins types.

Our tipper lorry fleet and grab loading lorries provide commercial clients with the capacity to handle the largest of

 

muckaway contracts and just-in-time waste removal from sites where access is restricted.

To compliment our services we also provide specialist handling of a wide range of hazardous waste materials including asbestos, liquid wastes and electrical equipment controlled by the WEEE directive.

Thanet Waste Services aim to maximising recycling opportunities and at present more than 80% of all of the construction waste we handle is segregated and reprocessed. Allowing us to supply more than 100,000 tonnes of recycled materials back into the Kent construction industry

 

 

each year. The range of recycled materials we supply is complemented by a wide range of primary aggregates.

As an essential requirement of the continuing maintenance and development of the company's quality objectives is the installation of a Health & Safety, Environmental and quality system registered to ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001:2007 status.
